The single reached number 119 on the official UK Singles Chart, following their performance on ''Strictly Come Dancing'' in October 2012. The song was covered by the ''Glee'' cast, with Sarah Jessica Parker on lead vocals, in the episode "Thanksgiving".

"Kiki" is a term loosely defined as a meeting of friends for the purpose of gossiping and chit-chat, used mainly in gay culture, originally coming from African Americans and Latinos of the ballroom scene.
